Faculty
At Multnomah, our faculty are the foundation upon which we build programs of academic excellence. Though highly educated and respected as scholars, you won't find Ivory Tower scholarship in their classroom. Instead you will find skilled communicators who make the ideas and principles they teach relevant to your life.
While our faculty love to teach, they also consistently broaden their knowledge base as evidenced by their publishing of books, journal articles, and involvement in various scholarly societies. They serve the church as pastors, church planters, counselors, and conference speakers. The content of their classroom instruction has been tested in the laboratory of experience allowing them to teach with confidence.
Perhaps the most important ingredient to Multnomah's success in developing godly servant-leaders is the modeling our students receive from our faculty. Here at Multnomah we don't casually say our faculty have hearts for mentoring and discipling our students. We mean it! Every day they eat lunch in the cafeteria with students providing an atmosphere for fostering relationships. Students are invited to faculty homes, given access to them in their offices, and challenged by their example of Christ likeness.
