Multnomah's RSS Feeds

An RSS feed is a way to syndicate website content, that is, with RSS new content can be published or broadcast to those who subscribe to the feed. For the Multnomah website, this means that news, calendar events, and blog posts can be broadcast to you as soon as they are published.

In order to use these feeds, you must have a news reader or "feed aggregator," of which many such products are available. Mozilla Firefox includes a very simple feed aggregator. In Firefox, when a feed is available on a webpage, the Live Bookmark icon appears in the URL bar. By clicking this icon you can add the feed as a Live Bookmark. For a more advanced feed aggregator, you may want to try Google Reader or My Yahoo!. A list of news aggregators is also available.
