Biography of Dr. Stephen Kim

2001 - Present

Dr. Kim was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in southern California. After university graduation, he went to Dallas, Texas for seminary training and received his master's degree in New Testament Studies and his doctorate in Bible Exposition. During seminary, he served various part-time ministries in a Korean-American church as both youth pastor and young-adults pastor. He was also an active member at Grace Bible Church of Dallas where he taught adult Sunday school classes and where he was ordained into the ministry.

Teaching people to fall in love with the God of the Scriptures and training them in the Bible for a lifetime of ministry is his passion. Dr. Kim and his wife, Sophia, have two young daughters, Rachel and Ashley. He enjoys traveling and taking road trips across the country with his family. Basketball, racquetball, and golf are sports that Dr. Kim particularly enjoys.
