*** Students who use Macintosh computers have been able to use Connect without major problems. Although we are a Windows-centered program, we will do our best to accommodate users with systems based on the MAC OS or Linux, however in the end a student may have to move to a Windows based system if compatibility issues become too large to overcome.
NOTE: We feel we must caution students about WEBTV, AOL, CompuServe, Prodigy, and other proprietary providers. While these companies advertise easy Internet access, we have found that their products do not always interact reliably with others. Students who use these services have often been known to have difficulty receiving/sending e-mails and attachments, as well as interacting in our online class environment, Connect.
