Spiritual Vitality
The faculty and leadership at Multnomah take seriously their objective to train you for a lifetime of service, whether in the marketplace or in full-time ministry. Acutely aware of the concern that seminaries can be a spiritual wasteland, faculty members purposefully encourage students in their personal relationship with Christ.
Personalized Internships
If you want to take what you learn and apply it outside the classroom, Multnomah is the place to be. Master's students begin practical ministry training through their internship in the first year. These internships continue throughout the duration of each program, providing the necessary mentorship for a balanced education. This hands-on experience helps equip our graduates to face the challenges that await them in full-time ministry and other leadership positions.
Dynamic Community
Emphasis on community distinguishes Multnomah from the growing number of seminaries focused on the commuter. We provide on-campus housing for single and married students, allowing them to enjoy fellowship with students and faculty in a dynamic and consistent learning community. Praying with and for each other, enjoying social activities planned by student leadership, being involved in ministry, and experiencing daily life together are a few of the many benefits afforded by on-campus housing. Approximately one third of our graduate students are married couples and families, providing a unique community atmosphere that greatly benefits the family as a whole.
Academic Excellence
While Multnomah focuses on ministry preparation, all classes are taught at the highest academic levels. Accreditation by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) help ensure the finest academic and professional preparation possible. Internationally recognized as some of the finest teachers and mentors in educational institutions, Multnomah's faculty members have received training at the highest academic levels and serve in a full range of ministries. Our faculty are devoted to serving the Lord and completely committed to training men and women in biblical, theological, and professional ministries.

Dear to the heart of our faculty is their love for Christ. They weave that love into everything they teach, making certain that students are integrating head knowledge with their hearts. Our faculty deeply desire to see their students grow, and view being available to students as key to that process. You will often see them eating with students in the cafeteria or talking with them in their offices and around campus.
