Reflections on a Life of Faith and Service

Dr. Daniel Lockwood, Multnomah's fourth president, has finished the good race. He was surrounded by family when he passed away peacefully in his home.

As we grieve over this loss and celebrate his new awakening, let's take time to reflect on a life well-lived for God's glory.

Tributes to Dr. Dan Lockwood

“Your friendship has been one of the greatest gifts God’s given me. I’ve learned so much about Jesus — not only as a savior, but as a friend. Thank you for being such a true friend in Jesus.”

Greg Allen, pastor at Bethany Bible

“You always did what was best for Multnomah. You always gave people the benefit of the doubt. You could be on the poster for the fruits of the Spirit.”

Dr. Dan Aleshire, president of the Association for Theological Schools

“He had a way of touching your mind and spirit with his sermons.”

Charles Buregeya, president of Africa New Life Ministries

“Dr. Lockwood has impacted my life in many ways. It’s been great to be friends.”

Dr. Luis Palau
