Multnomah offers three college graduate degrees: MA in Teaching (MAT), MA in TESOL, and MA in Counseling (MAC). Each graduate applicant fills out the standard application and submits additional required application information pertinent to the degree.
As a standard each program requires two references, a completed interview form, and official transcripts from the degree granting institution unless the applicant has taken graduate courses from another institution and/or if they have completed some Bible/theology at another college.
Program Qualifications
- GPA: 2.75
- Fingerprinting for a criminal background check
- One of the following tests with passing scores: CBEST, West- B, PRAXIS - 1
- 16 credit hours of Bible/Theology either prior to entering the selected degree or during the completion of the degree.
- MAT: 2 Letters of Recommendation
- MAT: Request for interview
- G.P.A. - 2.5
- 3 credit hours of Foreign Language (this can be taken during the program)
- 13 hours of Bible/theology
- MATESOL: 2 Letters of Recommendation
- MATESOL: Request for interview
- G.P.A. – 2.5
- 16 credit hours of Bible/Theology completed either prior to admissions or during the completion of the degree
- MAC: 2 Letters of Recommendation
- MAC: Request for interview
