Multnomah University

“Multnomah was hugely important in preparing me for ministry. What I’m doing is having an impact from the rainforest to the tundra to the highlands.”

Vice President of Advancement Steve Cummings shares his team’s philosophy.

A Culture of Generosity

MU’s advancement team is honored to build a culture of generosity across the MU campus and serve God’s kingdom by growing believers’ hearts.

Catch the Vision

As vice president of advancement, my hope is that we can all come together in a spirit of unity to mobilize our time, talents and resources to advance the cause of Christ until he returns. We need your help in doing that. To reach the full potential that God has for us, we need his wisdom, favor and grace to share Multnomah’s story with other believers and invite them to participate with us in our University vision:

•             Creating a global campus
•             Inspiring an infectious love of service
•             Building moldable and resilient Christian character
•             Developing a diverse learning community

We feel greatly privileged to bless our alumni, who are making powerful advancements for God's kingdom across the globe. They are wonderful ambassadors who declare Multnomah's impact through their everyday lives. We're committed to serving them by providing useful benefits, involvement opportunities and much more.

People who give are God’s people who invest God’s money to do God’s work. My team and I call them “givers” or “partners,” and we recognize them as an important part of the Multnomah family. They are the thread that keep us bound together and further the University’s mission of developing biblical wisdom and power in every student’s life.

Support a Global Mission

Becoming a cheerful and sacrificial steward isn’t just about what you can give — it’s about experiencing true joy in giving while growing deeper in relationship with Jesus Christ. Regardless of the amount you give or how you give, every gift counts and supports our global mission.

You could send an undergrad student to volunteer in Taiwan, help a seminary student translate a Dead Sea Scrolls fragment, or purchase housing for a graduate student.

However you choose to provide, know that you’re investing in kingdom work — and that we’re enormously thankful.
