Where I come from
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved five times prior to graduating from high school. My family lived in England and traveled in Europe before I was five years old. I was too young to remember my European travels. The majority of my growing up years were in Colorado where our family enjoyed learning to ski together. I graduated from high school in California and returned to Colorado for college.
I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home by parents who loved the Lord and served in full-time ministry. I accepted the Lord as my savior while at children’s church in first grade. I enjoyed doing Bible study with my father one on one while in elementary school. I enjoyed going to summer camp during my junior high years and it was the spiritual highlight of the year for me. While in college I enjoyed returning to that same camp to work for three summers.
Why I enjoy working at Multnomah
I have served as the Registrar since 1998 and enjoy being able to utilize the gifts and abilities that the Lord has given me in my role here at the school. I came to Multnomah in 1993 to do the one year Graduate Certificate program in Bible and I have been here ever since. It is a privilege to be a part of the ministry of the school in preparing students for the many different roles that the Lord has for them.
Ministry and other interests
I currently serve as part of the global outreach team at my church. Prior to my involvement with missions I worked in junior high ministry at my church for over ten years. I enjoy reading, doing projects at home, skiing and volleyball. My latest new interest is cycling. I also enjoy traveling, especially to visit my brothers and their families in Colorado.
