Where I come from
Born and raised in Alaska, I spent most of my childhood outdoors exploring the vastness of Alaska’s wilderness. A love for God's creation motivated me to spend much of my time backpacking with my youth group and fly-fishing with my father. After studying classical music at the University of Alaska Anchorage, I was encouraged by an alumnus from ChangePoint Church of Anchorage to transfer to Multnomah University for the Music Ministry Degree. I entered the program in 2003 and graduated with my degree in Music Ministry in 2006.
After graduation, I married Joshua Eaton, a Leadership & Ministry graduate from Multnomah’s Degree Completion Program, and together we've made Portland our permanent hometown. My husband and I have a great love for the city of Portland and desire to serve in urban ministry in the future.
