Craig Jones has been a church organist for 46 years and has arranged numerous hymns and anthems. Currently, he is the music director at Christ the King Lutheran Church leading a choir of 25 members. He has a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in chemical dependency, a B.M. in Jazz Performance from Portland State University, and an M.M. in Pipe Organ Performance, also from Portland State.

He has studied in New York (Manhattan Conservatory of Music), and has performed on the East and West coasts with a jazz trio. He has also toured with the Symphonic Jazz Concert Orchestra as pianist and arranger. He has toured Europe performing in Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Austria. He currently teaches jazz studies at Reed College and has also taught at Portland State University, Lewis and Clark College, and a Korean music school.

His other activities include arranging for Cabaret shows, performing, touring, and studio recording. Craig is starting his 13th year teaching jazz at Reed College, and is the Director of Jazz studies at the Transformation Voice Training Institute.
