Where I come from
I was born in Dallas, TX, but raised in Denver, CO. Though I learned to talk with a southern accent, I definitely identify myself with the snow-loving, mountain folk! I graduated from Arizona State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Marketing, and then quickly moved to Hawaii, where I worked as a mortgage underwriter and spent a lot of time playing in the waves! In the summer of 2008 God led me and my husband to Portland where I began my amazing career in higher education. I learned the ropes working in Teacher Education, Human Resources, supporting the Faculty, and finally back to my roots – Financial Aid! God’s incredible and adventurous plan led me to Multnomah University in January of 2013. I love applying my skills and passion for higher education to helping students realize their educational dreams, while also helping them make intelligent financial decisions and remain mindful of our call to be good stewards of the resources with which God has blessed us.
I live in Portland with my husband, Wes, and my sweet-yet-energetic border-collie mix, Finn. We love enjoying the beautiful Oregon outdoors by hiking, backpacking, running, camping, and gardening. We also enjoy the diverse and extensive food options this incredible city has to offer!
