Born and raised in Oregon, Judy spent a semester abroad in France. Her desire is to equip and train others to minister to young people through authentic, godly relationships. She believes that if you walk with Jesus, you will have a ministry in the lives of others.

Judy has served on church staff as Girl's Ministry Director, Children's Ministry Director, Youth Pastor, and served one academic year at Multnomah as Head Resident in Memorial Dorm.

Since 1982, she has been involved with the National Network of Youth Ministries planning and teaching at conferences to train youth workers. In 1995, Judy began Northwest Women's Youth Network in the Portland-Vancouver area. Its purpose is to bring together women who serve full-time in youth ministry both in the church and para-church for prayer and encouragement.

She would rather be home than anywhere, but loves the mountains, downhill skiing, and people. She and her husband Randy have been married for 13 years and have one daughter, Julia.
