Where I come from
I was born in Oakland, California and lived in many towns throughout California during my childhood. I came to a saving faith in Jesus Christ during high school. I attended the University of California, San Diego and majored in psychology. I went on to graduate school at the University of Southern California, where I completed a master’s degree in 1990 and a doctorate (1992) in educational psychology. I became involved with Precept Bible studies during graduate school and have enjoyed this method of study for many years. My family moved to Tigard, Oregon in 1993 and to Vancouver, Washington in 1999. I chose to stay home with my children for twelve years. In 2005, I completed a certificate in school psychology. I have taught at the Master’s College in California and at Washington State University, Vancouver.
