Why I chose Multnomah

I moved away from Portland three years ago for a job opportunity in the SF Bay Area, but always knowing that I would be back. The time spent in California was great, but it wasn’t “home”. I found myself cruising the Multnomah website about a year ago and that’s where the initial seed was planted to begin my venture back to Portland in pursuit of Seminary training. I moved back this past November and God has been opening door after door in confirmation of what He has prepared for me back here. I am beyond blessed to have the opportunity to work with as well as study alongside of such an incredible group of people who truly live out the love of God.

What I love most about Multnomah

I love the community here at Multnomah. What a wonderful place to meet other hungry, Christ-followers who share of the same heart condition and passion to learn and grow.

Advice for new Multnomah students

Ask tough, probing questions. Challenge yourself. Dream up Kingdom-sized prayers, then don’t be afraid to ask the Lord for them. Trust and expect.

Favorite Place to eat out

I am a sucker for amazing views, so I would have to go with Portland City Grill.

Favorite thing to do in Portland

I love discovering new running, biking and hiking trails in and around the Portland area. A close second would be trying out new restaurants and coffee shops.

Favorite Books

Hands down, it has to be Irresistable Revolution by Shane Claiborne. This book changed my life, seriously.

What I do outside of my job

I love to write, read, run, bike, garden, shop, cook and get lost exploring this wonderful city. I also have this thing for setting crazy goals, like running marathons for instance, and then seeing them through whether I like it or not.
