Where I come from and faith story
Growing up in Oregon was incredible. I may be biased, but I think it’s the most beautiful state in the Union. Here in Portland, we are 90 minutes from the beach and 90 minutes from the mountains. Perfect, right? The majesty of God’s beauty truly surrounds us here in the Pacific Northwest.
I was raised in a Christ-centered home with two parents who passionately love Jesus. I made a personal decision for Christ at age 5. Through the ministry of Young Life in high school, I truly made my faith my own as a young adult. My relationship with the Lord is the center of who I am, and I strive to live each and every day for His glory alone. Jesus Christ as Lord of all is the only thing I’m completely sure of.
Why I work at Multnomah
A position in public relations gives you a microphone and an opportunity to say something. Having the opportunity to use that position for the Kingdom is a dream, and it is truly my honor to promote and raise awareness about Multnomah University.
My mother is from Denmark, and we visit our family as often as possible. It is truly my happy place. My favorite room in my home is the kitchen. I love to cook and bake for people as well as experiment with new recipes. On Saturdays in the fall, you can find me in the stands at Autzen Stadium cheering on the Oregon Ducks.
