Where I come from
I desire to invest in the lives of Christian leaders, encouraging them to grow in their walk with Christ. Born in Miami, Florida, I spent most of my childhood in Phoenix, Arizona. As a graduate of Phoenix College School of Nursing, I spent nearly ten years as a critical care registered nurse, specializing in trauma and surgical intensive care. I met my husband, Jim, during his surgical residency. Together we have become increasingly involved in a local church, as our family grew to seven children.
I have served in a variety of ministry opportunities including deaconess, women's ministry director, and retreat speaker. After completing my Master of Divinity degree, I sensed God's call for further education. I graduated in December 2009 with a Ph.D. from Talbot School of Theology in Educational Studies with an emphasis on Spiritual Formation.
Extra-curricular, non-ministry activities
I enjoy camping, hiking, water sports, and snow skiing with my family.
