Multnomah's Impact

The Washoe County Commissioner's Office recognized Multnomah Reno-Tahoe with a letter of recommendation for its enrichment of Washoe's community through its accredited theological studies, degreed programs, and new library.

Commendation Reading

The letter was read to county representatives, the local press, Multnomah staff and faculty, and community members. Unanimous applause followed its reading, which served as an encouragement to the staff and faculty who were present.

Executive Director's Thoughts

“There is still a lot of school yet to build, but the library dedication is a significant milestone,” John McKendricks, Executive Director of Multnomah Reno-Tahoe, said. “This achievement is the culmination of the hard work of our staff, especially Kati Andreano who had to learn an entirely new job skill in order to support it. To have the city take the time to recognize our work in Reno is incredibly affirming and deeply meaningful to me. It indicates to me that we are rowing in the right direction.”
