While we are not in the habit of deleting comments that aren’t spam, we’d like to simply take a moment to clarify for our readers out there that Multnomah does not teach from The Book of Mormon nor does it espouse any of the writings contained therein. The Bible is everything as established in canon from Genesis to Revelation. Nothing more or nothing less.

I have experienced financial stress somewhat akin to what you have described, and your story boosted my courage; everything will work out if we trust in God. He doesn’t leave His children high and dry when they turn to Him. It says in the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ that Christ has descended below all things so that He might ascend above them, “that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.” What a comfort it is to know this and to be able to trust in a Higher Power when life seems out of my control.
