Forget Black Friday & Cyber Monday
Thanksgiving kicks off a busy season. The sales of Black Friday have been an American tradition for many, many years. Recently, the addition of Cyber Monday has added to the consumerism mindset - only with an online shopping flavor. Maybe this year we could make a difference by trying something different when Tuesday, November 27th rolls around?
All too often we find ourselves caught up in the frenzy—plotting what to buy, wondering how to decorate, and calculating how much we must work out so that we can indulge in all those delicious seasonal treats. It’s exhausting! And, when we allow ourselves to be convicted, we will realize just how far we've strayed from the true reason for the season.
Consider Multnomah Student Aid
We invite you to join with us in creating a counter-cultural #GivingTuesday on November 27th. Start the giving season off right with a gift to Multnomah University—a gift that equips students to share the Christmas story all year long.
The Video
Join us in preparing the heart and mind to keep Christ in focus all season long by consciously choosing to reflect the light of Christ. To participate in our MU Giving Tuesday options please feel free to visit our website.
