The staff of Multnomah's new student publication Muse just launched the online magazine's third issue. The theme for this December edition is "Celebration." Cinco de Mustache culminates in a multitude of mustachioed men, no mere mirage but a magnificent mass of manliness, merriment, and mastery of the follicle arts.
This year, we students searched pictures of Cincos past and took some of the best we found to create a 5 part advertisement series, as well as one revision of the famous limerick about the Gun Powder Plot of 1605. Enjoy.
Christianity Today just published a little feature on our very own Seminary Professor Dr. Paul Louis Metzger in their May 2011 Issue. (Lesser known fact, it was also written by MU adjunct professor and prolific journalist Cornelia Becker Seigneur!)
We all know by now that Dean Emeritus of the Seminary Dr. Donald L. Brake has been busy publishing and speaking during this, the 400th anniversary of the KJV Bible.
It's interesting to wonder why someone would take such a liking to the subject - recently some short essays on the matter were published by the man himself. So, we'll let his words speak for him.
So, you may have noticed, but after nearly 5 years, we finally re-launched the MU Blog with a refreshed design. Portland, OR – Multnomah University has unveiled plans for the sponsorship of a NASCAR team. The name of the team will be “Team MU Good Racing”. The new partnership with the world-famous NASCAR racing product is the largest advertising and brand-awareness endeavor for the small private Christian institution.
