Kigali: Double or Everything
Family & Friends,
The Kigali Bible College (Africa New Life) library project has doubled its name: The Kigali-Kigali Kollection. God broke open his blessing and the goal of 2,009 books by graduation 2009 was reached seven weeks before the deadline. The Kigali Kommittee met, praised God and set a new goal. The new goal is “Double or Everything”. The original goal was doubled to 4,018. The ‘Everything’ was in case God turns on the fire hose again. If the 4,018 books are reached then a goal of 5,000 books will replace it. This past ten days we had volunteers recording eight hours a day to catch up to the 40 boxes of donations that were waiting. On Saturday at 5:30pm we caught up and then counted up. The Kigali-Kigali Kollection currently has 3,639 different books. We are 379 short of the “double goal”. When we find a duplicate book it has been going to the Holly Miller Missions Scholarship used book sale and helping global ministry in another way. Right now we need finances to buy more books and more Portland churches to collect books from members. God is moving quickly and we are just holding on for life and for Rwanda.

Patti,
We are looking for biblical/theological books and some Christian books (without American cultural slant). Books we cannot use for Kigali, go to the Holly Miller Missions Scholarship used book sale.
