Gordon Patterson, 1984 Graduate Certificate Alum, entered into the presence of the Savior on Tuesday afternoon, September 15, 2009. He was hit by a car while riding his bicycle home from work. He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Carrie) Grafe Patterson, 1980 Alum, and three children, Caleb (22), Julia (19) who is a freshman at Multnomah Bible College, and Jonathan (14).
Gordon was a very popular teacher at Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver, Washington - following the accident, the students there held a candlelight vigil. See video at the end of this post.
