Kathryn Dunbar (‘98 MAPS)

Kathryn graduated from Multnomah University with a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies and an emphasis in Women’s Ministries. She secured a position in the Registrar’s office at Multnomah, and worked there for four years. After studying and working at Multnomah, the Lord led Kathryn back home to Fresno. Kathryn said, “leaving Fresno to take a job at Multnomah was one of the hardest decisions to make, but returning home was almost as difficult. I created a new network of family and friends, loved my job and got involved at a church. The Lord has certainly blessed my move back.” Read the rest of this entry »

Mike Adams (Grad Cert '85)

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Mike started his career as an aircraft radio technician. In 1984 he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Washington State University. He has worked as a broadcast engineer since 1987 with experience in SW transmitters, antennas, studios and Mike’s favorite – AM radio remote broadcasts. Read the rest of this entry »

On the Flip Side – School for At-Risk Teens

Alumni Cameron and Deidre met at Multnomah in the fall 2003 while working on Multnomah Community Outreach team together. After spending most of their Spring Breaks on missions trips to Compton, California, they developed a passion for educating inner city youth. In February of 2007, a year after they got married, Cameron and Deidre responded to the call that God had placed on their hearts and left Portland, moving by faith to Los Angeles. On the Flip Side – Peter Mead (MDiv ’04)

Alumni in Chippenham, England

Alumnus Peter Mead graduated from the Seminary program in 2004 with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Masters in Divinity. Now living in England, Peter serves in his local church on a preaching rotation while filling a supportive role to develop other pastors on the team. However, the bulk of Peter's time is spent working in a ministry called "Cor Deo" which means 'Heart for God'. Read the rest of this entry »
