Leading, feeding and protecting the flock. That has been the theme of my ministry involvement since I graduated from Multnomah in May of 99. In fulfilling my calling, I've served on church staffs, planted churches, and recently founded an outreach to coaches/athletes that has gained tremendous momentum in the Pacific Northwest.

This morning (Monday, March 29, 2010) The Oregonian newspaper published the story on the front page! It is also today's "Editor's Pick" on the home page of

Last Friday (March 19th) at 10:20 a.m. the 15,000th book was entered in to the library database. And, probably in honor of Dr. Garry Friesen who's been running the program, the final book was "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis!

Dr. Roger Congdon, You Will Be Missed

Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pianist, theologian, Multnomah Bible College Prof & Dean Dr. Roger D. Congdon went to be with the Lord on June 18th, 2009. He was 91-years old.

The Congdon family name is one familiar to generations of Multnomah friends. Many of Dr. Congdon's own children and grandchildren are alumni. He taught and led at Multnomah for 37 years.
