There are always a lot of opinions and theories about how today's youth communicate. We hear how they like their phones, but not the actual "phone" part of it. They don't like email because texting or Facebook is preferred. Rumors even abound about how they might prefer some face time if the information is useful to them. Well, we found some actual research on the subject done in the form of an info-graphic. Because pictures work for everyone!
Last Thursday in chapel, a moderated Staff and Faculty Panel discussed the issue of technology and how it effects our lives. For a modern student body that uses text messaging, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube as naturally as they would use their own limbs, the ideas presented were challenging thought-provoking.
