Whenever we ask our alumni, "What was your favorite part of your time at Multnomah?". We hear responses about the fun memories made with friends, appreciation for relevant biblical training, and the transformation that God worked in their hearts. Not surprisingly, we also often hear about the positive influence that the professors had; the passion with which they taught the Word of God and how they lived out the love that they spoke of in the classroom. Alumni Show Love to Portland
Five years ago, over 100, 000 people showed up to hear the Good News at the Luis Palau ('61) Festival. That weekend, more than 20,000 volunteers from different churches, schools, government organizations and businesses put hands and feet to the gospel message by engaging the physical needs of people in the City of Portland. On the Flip Side – Peter Mead (MDiv ’04)
Alumni in Chippenham, England
Alumnus Peter Mead graduated from the Seminary program in 2004 with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Masters in Divinity. Now living in England, Peter serves in his local church on a preaching rotation while filling a supportive role to develop other pastors on the team. Kigali Kollection – An Update on the Largest Theological Library in Rwanda
On July 1, 2012, another team will be sent to Kigali to train ten Africans in setting up a library and placing the now 18,500+ books onto the shelves. The journey started in 2008 when Africa New Life Ministries (founded by Multnomah Biblical Seminary graduate Charles Burgeya) was awarded a grant to start a Bible training school in Kigali, Rwanda. Upon hearing this good news, a group of Multnomah students banded together under the same dream - to create the largest theological library in Rwanda.
