Church and State: Making Sense of the Establishment and Freedom Clauses

On Friday, September 17, 2010, Constitution Day, Multnomah University will be sponsoring a panel discussion on two of the most important and yet, most debated portions of the U.S. Constitution: the Establishment Clause and the Freedom of Religion Clause.

Multnomah faculty will be participating in this very important discussion.  You won’t want to miss it! Since we are called to obey the government, we should all know the impact these clauses have on our lives as we live in our own country.  You will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.  Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend.  The panel will take place in L-101, from 3:00-4:30 p.m.
