Day of Prayer

The Multnomah Board of Trustees and President Craig Williford invite the entire Multnomah family to join them for a special day of prayer Saturday, August 16.
We will pray together as an entire group before assembling into smaller groups for a campus prayer walk. Our hope is that these groups will pray in all of our classrooms, residence halls, buildings, office areas, the library and other meeting places. We want to immerse the campus and our work in the power of prayer.
If you are not able to join us on campus, you can still unite with us through prayer from wherever you are.
We encourage you to pray for Multnomah by asking God to provide wisdom and discernment as He directs our paths. We yearn to hear His voice and follow it courageously. Below is an outline of requests you may wish to include in your time of prayer.
Ask that:
  • MU will know God’s direction and faithfully follow it.
  • God will use MU to prepare godly, servant leaders who wisely serve in God’s global kingdom work, whether in the marketplace/public arena or in full-time vocational ministry.
  • God will reveal to us how He wants us to serve the global church in light of today’s challenges and opportunities.
  • The Multnomah family will honor Christ in all aspects of its work and life together.
  • MU will carefully steward all the resources that God provides, multiplying them through missional work.
  • God will reignite our creative spirit as we pursue innovative ways to join in the global work of the Gospel.
  • God will bless our commitment to integrate the Bible into all aspects of our educational experience.
  • God will bless our faculty as they teach, disciple, research, write and speak.
  • God will bless our staff as they disciple and serve our students.
  • God will provide wisdom and courage for the trustees as they govern MU.
  • God will bless administrators as they serve by leading and lead by serving.
Lunch will not be provided at this event; however, there will be beverages.
