The Multnomah Lions played their second game of the Cal State Maritime Classic against William Jessup University on Saturday afternoon in San Francisco, California.
The Lions kept things close in the first half, despite having trouble scoring for the second straight night. MU scored only 4 points in the first 9 minutes, but kept the game close as Jackson Coleman finally connected on a three pointer to get some offense flowing. The Lions went into halftime down 27-35.
In the second half, the Lions made a late run, but their poor shooting caught up with them as they lost 76-59. MU is now 1-4 on the season and will take on the Concordia Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
