Baccalaureate Chapel Will Honor Student Achievement


Multnomah Bible College will hold a Baccalaureate Chapel May 14, 2004 at Central Bible Church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Faculty and graduates will walk in the cap and gown procession.

The ceremony will include special music by Ric Guisinger and speeches by students Becky Wanamaker and Robert Trenckmann. Speakers are selected by the college faculty for academic honors and the ability to communicate a message.

Students will be recognized for their acceptance into Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges & Universities.

Multnomah Bible College also awards the following: Jim Skagen Athletes of the Year Awards, MBC Literary Award, Edward W. Goodrick Biblical Language Award, Multnomah Music Award, Claire Grieve Service Award, John W. Lawrence Biblical Studies Award, Joseph C. Aldrich Evangelism Award, Holly Miller Missions Award and College Faculty Awards.

Seminary Baccalaureate Chapel will be held on Friday May 14 at 9:00 AM at Central Bible Church. The featured speaker will be Peter Mead, graduating MDiv student, and winner of the B. B. Sutcliffe Expository Preaching Award. His message title is "A Ministry Like the Master" taken from Matthew 9:35-38. There will also be a vocal solo by Ha Yanghee, wife of seminary student Minoru Morimoto, accompanied on the piano by Prof. Miriam Gibby.
