Professor Needham to Speak at Commencement


Professor David Needham will be the guest speaker at the May 14 commencement ceremonies. His message will be "Quietness and Confidence."

The commencement will begin at 7:30 p.m. City Bible Church, 9200 N.E. Fremont, once again hosts the graduation. This final event, a highlight of the school year, particularly honors those who have successfully completed a course of study at Multnomah. No tickets are necessary.

Multnomah's Ambassador Choir, led by Professor Miriam Gibby, will perform at the graduation. Dr. Wayne Strickland, Dr. John Wecks, Professor Carley Wecks, Dr. Don Brake, Dr. Terveen, Dr. Blom, Dr. Lockwood and Registrar Amy Stephens will lead the presentation of diplomas.

Multnomah will also recognize specific student achievements and present awards.

Parking for commencement is limited. A shuttle bus service from the campus gymnasium will be available. Busses will begin at 6:15 p.m. and return busses start at approximately 9:15 p.m. The final pick up from City Bible will occur at 10:30 p.m. Cars carrying a minimum of five persons may park at the church.
