New Director Hired in Multnomah's ProCom Department

Multnomah staff and faculty will notice a new face in the Promotions/Communications department at Multnomah Bible College & Biblical Seminary. Robert Leary is the new Director of the ProCom department, replacing Amy Cory who filled the position for 2 1/2 years.

"Robert comes to us with many skills which I am confident will contribute to our promotions and marketing. We've been blessed with Amy and will continue to be blessed by our new ProCom Director, Robert," said Gina Berquist, vice president of enrollment management.

A graduate of WSU, Leary received his bachelor of arts in digital technology and culture. For the past four years, Leary has been a manager in the Columbian newspaper's marketing department. He has extensive writing experience, as well as proven management methods. He comes to Multnomah with a desire to help restructure the ProCom department in order to help it function at its fullest potential.

As Director of ProCom, Leary and his team will be responsible for all advertising and promoting of Multnomah to prospective students. ProCom is also responsible for assisting Multnomah's numerous departments in maintaining a consistent image, unified under Christ for the purpose of training men and women in the knowledge of His Word.

Leary is the dedicated father of a 2-year-old boy named Aiden. They attend Crossroads Community Church in Vancouver, Washington.

Leary will be working with the new Promotions Coordinator, Dave Hardy, to take over the position that Amy Cory filled in the ProCom department for nearly 2 and a half years. Though Cory's title was Publications & Advertising Coordinator, she functioned as the interim director of ProCom for most of her time with the institution.

Cory will be moving to Washington to be closer to family as her husband, Stephen, finishes his military service in Kuwait. Cory will be ministering to fellow military wives, as well as coaching her high school Alma Mater's swim team. Cory looks forward to investing in the lives of the young women on the swim team that she was part of years ago.
