Multnomah Biblical Seminary will host a special event for the release of Trinitarian Soundings in Systematic Theology , edited by Dr. Paul Louis Metzger. The event will take place at Multnomah Biblical Seminary on Friday, May 5 and will feature presentations by Dr. Metzger, Dr. Ron Frost, and Pastor Rick McKinley .
"Dr. Ron Frost of the seminary and Pastor Rick McKinley of Imago Dei Community will be joining me for this event," said Dr. Metzger, associate professor of christian theology and theology of culture at the Seminary. "We will each give a presentation on the Trinitarian renaissance in Christian theology and its impact on the church and broader culture."
Dr. Ron Frost, associate professor of historical theology and ethics at Multnomah Biblical Seminary, is one of the contributors to Trinitarian Soundings. In addition to Drs. Metzger and Frost, the other contributors are Demetrios Bathrellos, Paul Blackham, Stanley J. Grenz, Colin E. Gunton, Stephen R. Holmes, James M. Houston, Robert W. Jenson, Kelly M. Kapic, Bruce L. McCormack, Paul D. Molnar, Georg Pfleiderer, Murray Rae, Esther D. Reed, Peter M. B. Robinson, and Miroslav Volf. Pastor McKinley is the author of Jesus in the Margins.
Dr. Metzger is the author of The Word of Christ and the World of Culture and editor of Cultural Encounters: A Journal for the Theology of Culture . His latest work, Trinitarian Soundings, is published by T. & T. Clark International.
