Multnomah Bible College and Biblical Seminary hosted the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) accreditation visitation team on April 19-21, 2006. The team of evaluators is made up of seven people who met with school administrators, seminary and college faculty, and some students and staff.
"This site visit represents the final step Multnomah must take before being granted initial accreditation," said Dr. Wayne Strickland, academic dean and vice president of Multnomah. "We haven't earned the additional accreditation yet, but we anticipate an answer in July at the next commission meeting where they will vote on our accreditation. Until then,we are still in the ‘candidacy' phase."
The evaluators were Ms. Natalee Vick from Seattle Pacific University, Mr. Joseph Subbiondo (Chair) from California Institute of Integral Studies, Dr. Terry Mazurak from Albertson College of Idaho, Dr. Phil Alletto from Dixie State College of Utah, and Mr. Rick Gagnier and Dr. Sneh Veena from Heritage University. Dr. Ronald Baker, Executive Vice President of NWCCU, served as liaison during the visit.
