Multnomah Biblical Seminary announces the appointment of its
newest faculty member, Dr. Rebekah Josberger. Dr. Josberger brings a strong
skill set to her position as assistant professor of Bible and Hebrew, which she
will begin on July 1, 2009.
Starting this Fall semester, Dr. Josberger will teach Hebrew
language, Old Testament exegesis, and some of the Old Testament courses in the
Graduate Certificate program.
Background
Dr. Josberger is a graduate of Taylor University
and holds two Masters degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a
Ph.D. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she completed a
dissertation on fatherhood in the book of Deuteronomy under the direction of
Dr. Daniel Block.
Dr. Josberger is a native of New
England and is married to James, who was a highly ranked swimmer
in college and is a now a swim coach and certified lifesaving instructor. They
have three daughters and a son.
