Multnomah Recruits New Counselor for Student Care Team

As a part of Multnomah University's commitment to student health and well-being, Lisa Wold has been hired as the newest counselor in the Student Services department. Ms. Wold is one of two counselors providing free Christian counseling services to all Multnomah Bible College students. She will begin her duties in the Fall 2009 semester.

Ms. Wold comes to Multnomah with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Music from Corban College and a Masters degree in Community Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University. She has worked as a counselor at Boise State University and at Refuge Christian Counseling Center.

"Because of our ongoing commitment to provide the best professional delivery of student health and well-being in all aspects of their lives, we're excited to have Lisa on-board as a part of the university Student Services team," said Dr. Wayne Strickland, academic dean of Multnomah Bible College.

"I am so excited for the chance to be a part of equipping students to follow God's plan for their lives," Ms. Wold said. "Whether it's helping students develop healthy strategies to move through life or helping students heal from relational or emotional pain, I enjoy the unique challenges of working with college students."
