As a part of Multnomah University's commitment to student
health and well-being, Lisa Wold has been hired as the newest counselor in the
Student Services department. Ms. Wold is one of two counselors providing free
Christian counseling services to all Multnomah Bible College students. She will
begin her duties in the Fall 2009 semester.
Ms. Wold comes to Multnomah with a Bachelor of Science
degree in General Music from Corban College and a Masters degree in Community Counseling
from Northwest Nazarene University.
She has worked as a counselor at Boise
and at Refuge Christian Counseling
"Because of our ongoing commitment to provide the best
professional delivery of student health and well-being in all aspects of their
lives, we're excited to have Lisa on-board as a part of the university Student Services
team," said Dr. Wayne Strickland, academic dean of Multnomah Bible College.
"I am so excited for the chance to be a part of equipping
students to follow God's plan for their lives," Ms. Wold said. "Whether it's
helping students develop healthy strategies to move through life or helping
students heal from relational or emotional pain, I enjoy the unique challenges
of working with college students."
