Multnomah Bible College is pleased to announce the
appointment of Jim Saemenes, our new Student Ministries
Director. Jim is replacing Dave Jongeward who served
for 17 years as Director of Student Ministries. Dave
has moved into the role of Assistant Academic Dean of
the College.
Raised in Arizona, Jim graduated from South Western
Bible College in Phoenix and then Western Conservative
Baptist Seminary in Portland with an M.Div. Degree.
Involved in youth ministry for more than 30 years, Jim
has been the Associate Pastor of Youth at North Albany
Baptist Church since 1987. Jim has also served in regional
and national youth network associations and he is a
trainer with Sonlife Ministries.
Jim looks forward to making the career switch from
local church ministry to campus ministry, and to begin
networking with church and community related ministries
in this area. Jim, his wife Eileen, and their children
will be relocating from Albany to the Portland area.
