University Application Fee Waiver Extended Thru February 2012
1/24/2012
Portland, Ore. – Multnomah University’s Admissions Department has extended its $40 application fee waiver until March 1, 2012. The waiver applies to all prospective students who apply by March 1, 2012 for Fall 2012 enrollment, and to applicants of all programs at the university, including
undergraduate,
graduate,
seminary, and
degree completion programs, and to all three campuses in
Portland,
Reno, and
Anchorage.
Reasons for Waiving the Fee
The primary reason for Multnomah’s application waiver is to encourage students to apply sooner rather than waiting until closer to the fall to submit their application. In doing so, the process of enrollment and applying for
financial aid is streamlined and less hectic for the applicant.
Additionally, the
Admissions Department is interested to see what kind of impact the waiver will have on enrollment numbers.
