Management & Ethics Major Added to Adult Degree Completion

7/17/2012

More Than A Business Degree

Portland, Ore - With the addition of the Adult Degree Completion Program's newest major, students can finish their Bachelor of Arts degrees with a major in Management & Ethics. By having live classes only one night per week, most students opt not to quit their current job, and since financial aid is available most can maintain a normal personal life as well.

The Management & Ethics major is for Christian business people who desire to enhance their ethical sensitivity, professional competencies, and management skills.

This major is projected to start its first cohort in November 2012 and is now accepting applications.

What is the Adult Degree Completion Program?

Multnomah's Degree Completion Program exists for adults who wish to finish their Bachelor of Arts degrees by attending class one night per week. Degree completion students already have some college done, but with the opportunity to earn life experience credits and to take tests for more credits, many students automatically enter the program with at least a junior class standing. Finishing a college degree is difficult with the time constraints that come with job and family responsibilities.

Multnomah Offers Three DCP Majors

1. Leadership & Ministry Major
2. Biblical Foundations Major
3. Management & Ethics Major

"The Management & Ethics major is ideal for people who want to enter the business world, whether they are interested in using their skills for nonprofit or for-profit organizations," Director of Degree Completion Program Holley Clough said.
