Multnomah Co-hosts Theological Library Conference

6/19/2003

Multnomah will join Western Seminary, George Fox University and Mt. Angel Abbey in hosting the annual American Theological Library Association (ATLA) conference. The gathering of over 250 librarians and booksellers will be held at the Portland Marriott hotel June 25-28. Librarians from various theological schools across the nation will share ideas and discuss the issues that affect their institutions.

ATLA is the publisher of Multnomah's primary online database, EBSCOHost. According to Multnomah Library Director, Dr. Philip Johnson, ATLA is the best provider of theological resources in both paper and electronic formats. This is the first year that ATLA has held a conference on the West coast, and Johnson is delighted to co-host the event.
