64th Annual Missions Conference Announced

Multnomah Bible College and Biblical Seminary will be conducting its 64th Annual Missions Conference February 8-13, 2004. The Conference, in cooperation again this year with Central Bible Church, will operate under the theme serving locally, reaching globally. The Conference aims to draw believers into a deeper love for the Savior and a more personalized stewardship and engagement in what God is doing globally as a result.

The keynote speaker will be Chip Kirk, a USA minister-at-large with OM (Operation Mobilization). Having ministered in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Australia, Chip says, "I believe that an uncompromising passion for the Master will result in an unquenchable passion for missions." Other plenary speakers will include Dr. David Stevens (Central Bible pastor and former missionary to France), Barb Fletcher (on staff with Salem Alliance in Salem, OR), and Pauline Clarke (with SIM International).

Approximately 75 missionaries representing 35 agencies will be at the conference to talk of many worldwide opportunities. Fifty seminars will be offering a wide variety of topics such as short-term missions trips, ethics on the mission field, purity on the field, prayer walks, ESL ministries, communicating with Muslims, caring for AIDS orphans, spiritual warfare, and outreach to international students. There will also be good music, challenging drama sketches, and small group prayer meetings. You are welcome to join us!
