“If it’s Bible you want, then you want Multnomah.”
Our former president, Dr. Willard Aldrich, made this saying famous, and it’s never been more true than today!
You see, the thing that makes a Multnomah education distinct is that all our students major in Biblical and Theological Studies, while pursuing a second major or minor in one of 13 specialized fields. You can choose more of a vocational ministry focus with majors like Youth Ministry or Music Ministry, or pursue a broader avenue such as History or Psychology. Multnomah’s programs are designed to help you become academically proficient and Biblically competent whether you are passionate about working oversees, or teaching elementary children in a local public school.
A Bachelor’s Degree from Multnomah is also regionally and nationally accredited which gives you flexibility in finding a job after graduating, or continuing your education at the graduate level.
The Programs
Beyond the Classroom
But at Multnomah, your education goes well beyond the classroom. We want to make sure that you are not just loaded with knowledge, but that you are being spiritually formed and culturally engaged. Students at Multnomah provide over 100,000 hours of service to the community each year. Whether working in a youth group, serving the homeless, raising awareness of sex trafficking, or travelling over-seas, Multnomah students are making a difference in and outside the church.
As much as you are absorbing God’s word and working it out in your everyday life, we also want to make sure that you take time to stop and reflect upon the Lord.
-
Stop to praise Him for who He is.
-
Stop to remember why you came to school in the first place.
-
Stop to wrestle through the hard questions in life.
-
Stop, as Dr. John Mitchell once said, to “Fall in love with the Savior.” Multnomah isn’t just about education, Multnomah is about life-change!
Check out our programs, and see how you can be trained to better serve and love the Lord, wherever He may lead you.
