The Dining Center, located in the JCA Student Center, is the main hub for student meals. The Dining Center has multiple options each day that can satisfy any appetite. Students can choose daily from fresh entrees in the home zone, a rotisserie station, the grill, pizza and pasta bar, a fresh salad bar, and self-serve sandwich bar. Students can top it off with a visit to the dessert bar, complete with fresh local ice cream and pastries.
The Dining Center also offers themed dinners once a week that encourage the community of Multnomah to eat together. Theme dinners have included Southwestern style food, ethnic foods, and holiday family style banquets.
In order to present the highest quality services to our patrons, Dining Services requests that the following policies be observed at all times:
- A student’s Multnomah ID card is their meal ticket, and must be presented to the cashier at every meal. If a student loses their ID card, or if it is illegible, they are required to purchase a replacement card in the IT Department for $5.
- Shirts and shoes must be worn inside the Dining Center.
Meal plans are required for all students living in the residence halls, and plans can be used in the Dining Center and the Coffee Shop. Multnomah offers one continuous serve meal plan for residential students. Students have unlimited access to the cafeteria Monday through Friday, and weekends during scheduled hours. Also included in the meal plan is $75 in "flex credit." This is a declining balance that may be spent in the campus cafe (Roger's), or the cateria.
