On Monday, September 3 at 7:30pm, Powell's City of Books will welcome Dr. Paul Louis Metzger's for an event about his book, Connecting Christ: How to Discuss Jesus in a World of Diverse Perspectives. Abbot Kyogen Carlson of Dharma Rain Zen Center will join Dr. Metzger for this event, modeling the kind of engagement to which the book speaks. Abbot Carlson wrote the response to Dr. Metzger's chapter on Buddhism. His response and those of others were published in the book.
