Portland, Oregon- November 7, 2012- The Multnomah Lions continued their tough early season schedule by playing Portland's Concordia University Cavaliers on Wednesday night at Concordia.
The Lions hung in the game early, thanks in part to the return of point guard Steve Bustrin who was effective at taking the ball to the basket and getting his teammates some open looks. Austin Hodges had an early hot streak from the outside that kept the Lions within shouting distance in the first half as they trailed at halftime 43-56.
The second half was all Adam Herman as the All Conference post player for Concordia dominated the paint. The 6'6" post finished with 39 points and 17 rebounds in the 113-75 win over MU. Junior guard David Walker led MU with 25 points and 7 rebounds, including 7 three point baskets.
The Lions will host Reed College on Saturday night at 7:00.
