MU Nails 25 Three's to Secure Third Win

Portland, Oregon - October 26, 2013 - Following a wild game on Friday night, the Multnomah Lions came back with a noon Saturday start against Camosun College, the fourth Canadian school the Lions have played the last two weeks. All four schools have been from the same conference in British Columbia. 

Both teams got off to a fast start on the offensive end as shots were going down from all over the gym. Robert West came off the bench to hit 5 three pointers in the first half to help MU take a 64-57 halftime lead.

 

In the second half, Kristoff Thande heated up from everywhere. Thande, scoreless in the first half, tore it up by nailing 6 of 9 three's and scoring 20 points to help MU pull away with the 124-102 victory.

 

Stevie Sansone led MU in scoring with 27 points, and Steve Bustrin led MU with 19 assists.  MU created 26 turnovers in the contest.  Multnomah is now averaging 120 points per game on the season and has a record of 3-1.  The Lions will be off until November 6th when they play Concordia University on the MU home court.
