How to Get Involved

As a Multnomah student, there are many ways you can get involved on campus. Stugo provides students a way to connect to campus life in these specific ways:

  • Advocacy and Relations Committee
The Advocacy and Relations Committee provides a unique opportunity for students to shape the culture of Multnomah. By helping students complete advocacy proposals, the A/R Committee can truly inspire change; these changes include physical changes to the campus, policy changes to the handbook, as well as academic and curricular program changes.
  • Events and Activities Committee
The Events and Activities Committee have the pleasure of designing and implementing both annual and original, all-student events. With annual events such as all-College retreat, Fall Banquet, and Junior Senior Banquet, student leaders on this committee will play an active role in shaping the social life at Multnomah.
  • Communications Committee
Students that are apart of the Communications Committee are given the opportunities to use creative gifts and talents to communicate to the student body regarding events, proposal activity and other STUGO related components. Using means such as the online publication, the "Toilet Paper", a campus calendar and more, the communications uses creative ideas to communicate clearly to students what is happening on campus.
  • Spiritual Life Committee
The Spiritual Life committee has a very unique role on campus. Revolving around developing events and programs that encourage the building of authentic community that is centered around Christ. They have the ability to use their creative ingenuity to provide spiritual stability and mutual encouragement on campus.
  • Student Clubs Committee
The Student Clubs Committee has the opportunity to see student ideas come to life through the formation of clubs. Student clubs are an ever changing, vital part of student life at Multnomah. This committee constructs and environment that helps grow and develop the already lively community at Multnomah.
