Time For Your Stugo Update
Hey! It's time for your monthly Stugo update.
The Stugo restructure has been huge for our team this semester. Talk to any executive member for the big picture on the process or just read this month's news story about it. This restructure is going the maximize Stugo's working hours to a whole new level. We're excited!
On February 20, there was an off-campus student barbecue; crazy Caleb Elliot and Aaron Attwood stoked the grills.
Married students can contact Jesse Everett about barbecues and get-togethers through out this semester.
Derek Webb was booked to play at MBC March 14. He and his team had to back out of the concert for logistical reasons, so, Stugo is on the rebound looking for a "plan b." We're looking to get Donald Miller, author of Blue Like Jazz, to do a reading and then have local musician and former MBC student Adam Smouse play after Miller's reading. We'll keep you posted.
A one-hour "Campus Chat" is coming up on Thursday, March 8. It will start at three o'clock and meet in the cafeteria. The hour will be dedicated to talking over possible changes to MBC's alcohol policy.
On March 22, the Lloyd Center Ice Arena will be Multnomah's for the taking. All students are invited and will be admitted for a small fee. Get ready for broom ball! See upcoming posters for details.
Stugo elections for next year's team will be happening in March. Voting for all executive positions (president, vice president, director of communications, and director of finance) will occur from March 9 - 12 and senatorial voting from March 15-16.
I encourage you to run if you're interested, and I encourage all of you to vote for next year's student government leaders.
Hope your February was as sunny inside of you as it was on the outside!
