Multnomah starts a worldview team

With the beginning of a new school year comes the first Multnomah Bible College Worldview Team led by Professor Ray Lubeck. The team of 12 MBC students was selected from about 40 applicants last semester. Mr. Lubeck said the team members have complementing experiences and talents in areas such as videography, drama, music and public speaking; they will use Powerpoint to present information on different worldviews for church youth groups, Christian high schools and retreats.

"I'm expecting it to be a very effective combination of media for high schoolers to understand their pop culture," Lubeck said.

The idea for a worldview team came from a presentation by a team at Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn. Members receive either two hours of undergraduate credit per semester, practicum credit for certain majors, or possibly student ministry credit.
